Kerry Newman

Kerry Newman is a 35 year veteran in the Real Estate retail leasing industry and began his career in Los Angeles working with the Epsteen and Associates brokerage firm and founder of the Chain Links Network. He was then hired by Simon Properties in their USA West Coast office to lease urban malls, specialty centers, enclosed malls and entertainment centers.

In 1994, Kerry moved to South Florida and consulted with regional developers and represented entertainment and restaurant tenants. Since joining Vertical Real Estate in 1997 he has handled the lease up of such significant retail projects as Ivanhoe Cambridges' Mary Brickell Village, Starwood Urbans' retail assemblage of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables and Met Miami in Downtown Miami. He has represented national tenants such as California Pizza Kitchen, Artefacto, Red Robin, TGI Friday’s, Yo! Sushi, Brio/Bravo and McCormick and Schmick and currently represents other national tenants including Domino’s and Natuzzi.

Kerry Newman graduated from the University of Texas with a Finance/Real Estate degree and has been a member of ICSC for 27 years.
