Michael Finkle began his real estate career at Coldwell Banker Commercial which he left when he created Respro Group, a boutique Commercial Real Estate firm specializing in retail properties and retail tenant representation. He sold the business to Summa Properties in 1991 where he remained as Executive Vice President and managed the Retail Division. He joined Adler Group in 1995 where he worked on various retail developments of numerous properties in the Southeast, including a big box, ground-up development in the Atlanta suburbs as well as tenant representation. Mickey then became the Florida Partner at Divaris Real Estate where he oversaw the operations of three Florida offices (Miami, Tampa and St. Augustine/ Jacksonville) and oversaw the leasing effort on one Regional Mall, a Regional Mall conversion and multiple supermarket-anchored centers as well as specialty centers.

He joined Vertical Real Estate as the Managing Director in 2023. In addition to overseeing the firm’s operations, he has been active in shopping center consultations and leasing as well as the exclusive representation of retail tenants including Whole Foods, Crate & Barrel/CB2, Maui Nix, Regal Cinema, Hooters, Brio/Bravo, Fleming’s, Red Robin, REI, Max Brenner Chocolate by the Bald Man, Pinstripes, Perry’s and many others. He also sat on the board of the International Council of Shopping Centers for the Florida Convention for seven years.
