Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan is a Principal of Vertical Real Estate. He specializes in restaurant and retail leasing. He represents both tenants and landlords, offering extensive market knowledge of Miami Beach, Wynwood, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. Born and raised in Miami, Michael has a deep understanding of its neighborhoods as well as the dynamic market trends and evolving consumer demographics. Michael has developed a robust network of contacts which provide him with unique market insights and ease in deal execution.

Michael works with national, regional, and local tenants including sweetgreen, Foxtrot, Salt & Straw, The Salty, Torchy's Tacos, Maman, Quality Branded, Boqueria, Krewe, Cactus Club, Skin Laundry and Puttery. On the landlord side, he represents the Agave Group where he is responsible for leasing out The Plaza development, the largest project in the history of Coral Gables. Additionally, he handles the leasing at Esplanade Aventura for Seritage, The Dorsey and WNWD21 for The Related Group, Safra’s portfolio in Wynwood and Miami Beach and many others.

Prior to joining Vertical, Michael Sullivan owned and operated OTC Restaurant and Golden Fig Restaurant in Brickell. He was awarded Zagat’s “30 Under 30” and The Miami Herald’s “Top 50 Most Influential People in The Food Industry.” In 2009, he graduated from Rhodes College, majoring in Business Administration while playing college football all four years. Michael attended Ransom Everglades School in Miami.
